Wyoming Real Estate License - Education Requirements


Sales License

Be at least 18 years old
Complete a 54 hour, state approved prelicense course
Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
Pass the state exam (grade of 75% required to pass)
Broker License

Be at least 18 years old
Must have at least two years of experience as a licensed salesperson
Complete a 54 hour, state approved prelicense course
Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
Pass the state exam (grade of 75% required to pass)
Continuing Education

Every three years a total of forty-five (45) clock hours of continuing education
Twenty-four (24) of the required hours must come from:
Buyer and Seller Relationships - 8 hours
Risk Management - 8 hours
Selling and Closing Transactions - 8 hours
Remaining 12 hours can be from general or prescribed courses
RENEWALS

All licensees renew on December 31st every three years
