New York Real Estate License - Education Requirements


Sales License - This course must be taken in a live classroom setting.

Complete a 45 hour, state approved prelicense course
Pass a qualifying written examination administered by the Department.
You must answer at least 70 percent of the questions to pass the exam. However, all exam results are reported as either passed or failed; one will not get a numerical score.
Brokers License

Continuing Education

Every two years, a total of 22.5 clock hours of continuing education
