Yes. Each state mandates this. Contact a reputable broker in the area. You will need to be sponsored by a broker so that you can be an agent for them. Go all the way and join the National Assosiation of Realtors so that you can proudly be a Realtor and not just an agent. Good Luck!

yes, i just became a real estate agent last year, and i had to take classes. i had to take California real estate principles before i could take the license exam. you now have to take two extra classes, atleast in california you do.
