When I painted my kitchen walls last summer, the tape made the edges of the ceiling start to peel.. What do I do to re-paint the ceiling? sand the area? sand the entire ceiling? use a special paint? Any other important things I should know?

Sounds like the paint isn't bonded very well to the ceiling.















I'd scrub it with TSP before repainting (which I do on any existing walls/ceiling paint job)

I thin it would be better to start from the beginning you need to polish sanding by refining it before painting it.
