My husband & I recently purchased a home in San Diego. He is the only person on the 1st & 2nd Mortgage. I am not on the Title either. He would like to add me to the Title.I am wondering what is the best way to hold title as a married couple? What is the difference between Community & Joint Tenancy?Any advice?Serious answers only please! Thanks!

Joint Tenancy is tenants in common, like live in lovers, community is community property as Cali is a 50-50 state, although you can do it either way but don't worry about its a 50- 50 state and you own half just because you are married.You don't need to file anything, or call title companies though they would love to take your money. ALL you need to do is have your husband call the mortgage company and add you to the title it's that easy.
