Anyone know anything about this? I was on a month to month verbal agreement lease with my landlord. I gave him 60 days verbal notice that I was moving out. He kept 75% of my deposit and says it's because I didn't give him 30 days notice. Is this legal? Everything I've read (tenant ordinance) says it CAN be a verbal agreement. Help?
