I drive my parents car but i am not insured, now that i've joined a real estate firm, they want me to have them as an additional insured. So what can I do now?Do I have to get insurance under my name? And how much would it cost to get the firm as an additional insured?

Your parents car should be insured for ANYONE driving it, even you, unless they don't have full coverage. Ask your broker again about having the name of the company on the policy, and for what reason. I've never heard of this. They do make stipulations that you must have full coverage, but they are never liable for you in these circumstances because you are self employed, an independent agent, apart from them. I think you need to investigate this a little further.Good luck in your new career, you are in it at the worst of times...it will get better, stick with it.
