in most states you when you take the test you are an agent and you must work under a broker after a year or two you can take the brokers test. but all must work under a borker for the first few years to be suporvised!

you must be sponsored by a broker. You do not need to be sponsored if you are selling your own real estate property.

You will have to sell under a broker for a period of time before you can actually go on your own. Check your state, I believe most of them will require that you pass a broker test as well. Good Luck
