what is the difference between getting a brokers license and a real estate license?

Each state has their own requirements for the sales associate and brokers license. Look for your state's dept of business & regulation or something similar. That's what it's called in FL, DBPR for short.

brokers can hire and be responsible for all agents in a office if they are a bic. broker in charge. they are responsible for all money if they are Bic. in our state they have to be a agent for 3 years to be a broker. but unless you are a bic you just have a title.
