not in the market. Please advice.? It was signed August 7, 2007. By August 14, we tried to call the estate agents 3 times and they said, they will send somebody. Then, they called and sent a couple to view the house (Mr. & Mrs. Russi). what I was expecting was somebody to measure the house not a viewer. August 16, 2007, We received a letter from the Estate agent, saying that, they enclosed a copy of the sales particulars. But there was NO PARTICULARS enclosed in the letter. They also need us to provide a full driving license or passport as an evidence of identification from anyone selling a property as require due to money laundering legislation. My husband went to the estate agents office to give them a copy of his driving license but it was close. After calling the office several times, they answered. They told us that the manager was ill, and she will then find out where the Sales Particulars is and will call us back. Can we cancel our contract and look for another estate agents? Thank you.

Sounds like your agent or agency is operating alittle slow. I would read through the contract to see what the specs are on getting out of the contract.If you are paying someone for a service, you should be receiving it. Some other agent would be more than happy to ensure that you are serviced.

If your contract says you can cancel then you can. Call them and let them know they have 1 day to get someone out to the house or you will be relisting with another agent. If they say you cant your in a contract, Tell them you will take them to court over their shoddy business practices. Their choice come do their job or lose a customer.
