Hello everyone,I am 2 months away from leaving the military and am looking for a career change. I am looking into becoming a real estate agent. I am moving to an area on a border of two states, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Literally 25 miles from where I will be moving is the border of Arkansas, Arkoma no doubt. Will I be able to sell estate in both states, or just one or the other? This poses a problem as Arkansas is the bigger city of the two areas. Can anyone share some of their knowledge with me.

You can sell in both, but also must be licensed in both. You will have to take the real estate exam, pass and be licensed to sell real estate in both states. FYI, the tests are not easy and cost $$. Good luck!

I live in Oklahoma and I know what our "rules" are. First you can be licensed in both. If you live in OK you can do the class and take the test, for OK. If you live in AR and want to sell in OK, you'll have to be licensed for 1 year in AR before you can get an OK license. I don't know about the other way around.
