Hi! Suddenly I've become interested in one question.
If you had US$200,000 to invest in real estate. which locations would you choose to invest for best short term and best long term investments?

Personally I feel more comfortable investing locally because I know the local market, but for a small risk and a sense that I am getting more with my money I might go to low income/low priced areas that are not to far away from me and flip the properties (assuming I'm buying them at discounted prices).
