I'm looking for is replacing the tub, wall and flooring. Especially the flooring is in bad shape. The grout of the tile is coming off. I'm not sure which is nice but inexpensive to use for flooring and it will be easy for me and my husband to do it.

Paint it a good color. See a color wheel. Go to a discount store and buy a nice rug and get a new shower curtain with liner. Accentuate with matching Towels. Voila.

Garage sale in the SUmmer and get a large remnant of vinyl flooring. Buy the glue and install yourself. Go to Home Dept and buy mismatched paint, be usre it is washable. Go talk to your local builder and ask for scraps. Maybe you can get a faucet he bought for a house and could not return/ didn't need. Other than that lots of your own work, instead of hiring. Tubs are tricky, check your classifieds, like the little nickel for a new tub.
