In your personal opinion, which real estate market is currently thriving the most?

I couldn't say the most from first hand experience because I don't know every market. I do know if you buy real estate at a good price (with a lot of equity in it), in a lot of markets you can still make money flipping it or you can keep it as an investment property, take out the equity and invest the equity into other investments.

Since you mentioned China in your other post, the international market is very hot. Look at countries like Dubai, prices have skyrocketed over there over the years. There are other countries set to explode as long as the political climate stays friendly.

Many markets continue to thrive, but there are real estate investment opportunities in almost every locale. A person needs to not think like yesterday's real estate investor, think what the trends are going to be like tomorrow. Is that run down warehouse district the next growth area? Is that low income area the next historical district? Be ahead of the curve and you can make it in Real Estate in any market.
